A new Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich firmware build is now rolling out to some
Sony Xperia U (ST25) owners. Firmware version 6.1.1.B.1.89 was certified back inJanuary for all NovaThor-based Xperia handsets. This same firmware is now rolling out to Italian-branded Xperia U handsets for those on the TIM network. People that have downloaded the update talk of performance enhancements in apps and across the whole system. At this stage, it is unknown whether we will see a wider release for generic handsets.
