A new firmware build has been certified by the PTCRB website for the Sony Xperia Z Ultra. Firmware version 14.1.B.1.493 will follow on from the current build (14.1.B.0.471) that recently rolled out to HSPA+ handsets (model number C6802).
We don’t know what the new update will bring, but there is a possibility it will include ‘X-Reality for mobile’.
Sony said that the X-Reality for mobile update is due to arrive in
early September, so there is a strong possibility that this build may
include it. We’ll bring you more news on the update as we have it.
