The Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update is now making its way to the Sony Xperia J (ST26i). The entry-level handset has seen its firmware updated to version number 11.2.A.0.21 as expected. Like other JB Xperia updates, the kernel has been updated to 3.4.
The Xperia J is the third handset from the 2012 Xperia range to be updated to Jelly Bean. The other ones include the Xperia T/TL (LT30p, LT30at, LT30a) and Xperia V (LT25i). The Sony Xperia TX (LT29i) is due to be updated within the next couple of weeks, with other handsets thereafter.
