The Sony Xperia ZR (C550X) will be subject to a limited global launch, but one of the territories where it will see the light of day is India. The handset has just gone in pre-order in the region across a couple of retailers. Both Flipkart and Infibeam have the Xperia ZR on pre-order for INR 29,990 (£331, €389, $516), which seems like a reasonable price. It is available to order in black, white and pink, but no mint unfortunately.
It looks like the launch will take place quite soon too, Infibeam has the launch date pegged at 15 June, whilst Flipkart points to the third week of June. We haven’t seen it pop up for pre-order in other regions yet, but if you have, let us know in the comments below.
