Have a look at the render of the Xperia Z below and tell us if you notice anything different. The title of the post gives it away, but what you can see is a different type of speaker design compared with the one that has hit retail.
The picture comes from an official Sony Mobile source, so it looks like at some point this is the design that may have been considered. The speaker in the render has small speaker holes instead of the vertical line used in the retail model. Maybe, Sony wasn’t able to make the phone water resistant with speaker holes (it sounds highly plausible), which is why they went for the line design. Regardless of that, it looks pretty cool with the speaker holes. Which design do you prefer? Let us know in the comments below.
