Xperia Z (C6603) listed on PTCRB; first firmware certified (10.1.A.1.326)
The Sony Xperia Z is now listed on the PTCRB certification website. Only one variant of the Xperia Z variant is currently listed – the LTE enabled C6603. The first firmware to be certified is version number 10.1.A.1.326, which could very well be the firmware on retail handsets at launch. The handset will launch with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and is expected to be updated to Android 4.2 at some point after launch.
